Tenley house managers actively mentor residents and alumni, who benefit from working one-on-one with a trained person in long-term recovery. They share insights, experience, and resources. Peer mentoring compliments clinical care. Mentors serve as guides, not instructors, having tread the same ground as the client on the road toward long-term sobriety. Mentors may accompany individuals to meetings or read recovery literature together. Peer mentors also help our clients feel comfortable as they learn to navigate their pathways to success.
